I wouldn't call anyone who was just being an ignorant rude jerk 'fat'. That means that being fat is a bad thing.
Being fat isn't a bad thing when you have no reasonable control over it. Just like some people can't control the fact that they are super super skinny (my boyfriend who is 6' and 130 pounds can't gain an ounce to save his life), some people ARE just built heavier. Others have emotional or physical issues that affect their minds.
Alcoholism is a disease right? Well, so is being addicted to food.
And for your information, before any of you go shooting off your IGNORANT mouths again, let me tell you my story.
I have no thyroid problems, and I'm dealing with my emotional attachments to food. I was 250 pounds in 2005, and I am now 168 and still losing as of today. I exercise 4-5 times a week, I count my calories, and I eat healthy. That means no fast food, no soda, and limited intake of sugars and refined carbs/red meat.
I am not thin, but I am not unhealthy either. My blood pressure is now 70/110, and I've gone from running a 18 minute mile (and almost dying because of my weight induced asthma), to running a 10 minute mile and having to rest for awhile before I could continue walking.
I am not 100% healthy, nor am I done losing weight and getting to where I want to be. But it's taken me years to get here, and I have no physical issues holding me back.
Before you judge someone, take a look at the other side. Ever known anyone addicted to alcohol, or drugs, even porn? Food can be just like that for some people. It induces chemical reactions in the brains of people who are addicted that calm, soothe, even give pleasure. That's addictive.
Step outside of your narrow little mind and look around. 66% of Americans are overweight, and half of them are in the obese category. YES, a large amount of that is because people truly are lazy. But not all of them are! Organic healthy foods are expensive, as are drugs to treat thyroid problems, and gym memberships. Things like that take time and money that often lower class people don't have. I know I can't afford a gym membership on my own.
Keely may be rich, but that doesn't solve all your problems. It's her personal choice to not take the drugs that would help her, and I'm sure judging her for that choice makes you feel like such an upstanding responsible citizen, doesn't it?
Open your mind and your heart, close your mouth, and listen before you spout more hurtful hateful words. Fat, thin, black, white, woman or man, we're all human and we all have feelings.

Did you ever think that maybe she was anorexic/bulimic before and now she’s comfortable in her skin? I think she knows how to live without being a whore for the camera.
Are you people BLIND???? I knew her when I lived in LA and trust me, this is 85% from overeating. She is a very beautiful woman but good lord- the texture of her skin and the fact that she ballooned everywhere is not due to thyroid. She's lucky she has a husband who loves her and isn't out nailing every woman he could.

You have no idea what you are talking about and unless you do you shouldn't be judging people and making your catty bitchy comments.
I was a a skinny size 10 and within 6 months was a size 20, I had changed nothing in my life.
Never felt so ill in my life at the same time, was thankfully diagnosed with underactive thyroid and put on medication.
My weight has dropped by 3 stone over 6 years but I am still 3 stone off my size 10 days. Its not just weight that piles on so many other things go wrong wtih your body at the same time.
I have had people name calling in the street. You sad, sorry people thinking you are better because you luckily do not gain weight.
One day, it could happen to you and those of you making those nasty comments would deserve to get this serious illness.
How do you think this poor Lady feels having to deal with her massive weight gain in the public eye and have you ignorant idiots comments to contend with.
You DON'T have a clue! If cancer made people gain weight, what would you say then. Thyroid disease is potentialy life threatening.
I would suggest you get a life and let her get on with hers with the privacy and dignity she deserves.

I saw the pictures and am absolutely disgusted.
But here's an idea, if this was Tom Cruise's wife, you'd all be saying she's fat because Tom control's her, and makes her life a misery. The only solace she can find is in food.

I think all of you are assuming that her husband does not like her weight gain. There are men out there that like there women withsome extra weight on there figures, in fact someeven like to see there women gain weight.
I became somewhat entranced by the same issue after college when my girlfriend who was always skinny gained a good amount of weight because her metabolism changed her figure filled out with womanly curves all over. Her once slender bikini model figure was know curves everywhere big breasts, wide hips, big thighs, a soft belly and bigger upper arms. I actually became more interested in her for some reason not only physically but mentally. As a couple of years went by her weight kept going up she became quite full figured most of you would call her fat, but I had more desire for her with every pound she gained. Both of us actually became a little addicted to her changes physically she loved the way her now heavier figure felt and liked all her womanly curves and I realized I was totally attracted to her being fatter and could not wait for her to gain more weight to see where it would land on her beautiful figure.
sure in this situation she gained more weight initially because her metabolism changed but as she kept gaining later on it was mainly due to her overeating. When she was skinny she ate anything and everything she wanted and would not gain a pound, later she definitely would eat way bigger portions of food and have desserts and she would gain continuously.
That is why I think Pierce might actually like the new figure of his wife as well as liking her continual gaining.
